More Than a Plain Gray Floor
A bare concrete floor does the job, and in plenty of retail spaces, restaurants, offices, and showrooms, it is all you need. Other times, a plain gray slab is not enough, and you want real color and character underfoot. You do not have to tear it out or cover it with another floor to get there. Stained concrete turns your existing slab into a warm, finished floor. We use modern dyes and stains that soak into the concrete and become part of it, so the color will not peel or chip the way a coating can. The look ranges from soft, marbled earth tones to rich, even color, and no two floors ever turn out exactly alike.
Acid staining is one way to get that look, and if an acid stain is what you have in mind, we can do it. We can also walk you through modern dyes and stains that deliver a similar rich, variegated color with less of the harsh chemistry and cleanup. We seal every stained floor, and can polish it to the sheen you want, so it holds up to daily foot traffic and stays easy to clean. Borders, scoring, patterns, and even a logo can be worked in, giving you a custom, finished look for a fraction of the cost of replacing the floor.
Stained concrete works best on sound concrete that can show off its character.
